Hvammsvik offer eight natural hot springs of various sizes and temperatures located at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean in Whalefjord. The design of these brand-new facilities is inspired by the rich history of Hvammsvik dating back to the 12th century. Hvammsvík Hot Springs are fed by geothermal water, laying 1400 meters underneath the ground, and the water from the Atlantic ocean. This steady circulation of this mixture of water ensures that the water is clean and of the best quality. Eight natural hot springs of various temperatures on the edge of the Atlantic ocean. The temperatures of the pools vary from ocean temperatures (around 10°C) to even 42°C in some natural hot springs. There’s also a steam bath and outdoor showers located within the complex.
